A fresh take on contemporary Indian cuisine

The Client

Simply Indian was founded by the owners of the already well known and extremely successful Kismat Indian Takeaway in Haslingden. Simply Indian was created to offer a more authentic, fresh and unique take on contemporary Indian cuisine, and needed a brand identity & website to match this vision.

The Project

We were asked to create a brand identity that was as fresh, vibrant and interesting as their food. The new brand identity would be used extensively throughout the interior and exterior signage, workwear, promotional materials and menus.

We were also asked to design and develop a website that was similar in layout and function to the popular online ordering websites, but without the hefty commission charges, to ensure that customers would have no issue familiarising themselves with both the layout and it’s functionality from day one.

The Solution

We developed a brand identity that could be used across mediums, in either a simple one colour format, or with the wood & steel effect employed across print media where colour range was not price sensitive.

We created a website that not only allowed simple online ordering, but also on-the-fly delivery calculations using a Google Map integration, order tracking, customisation for integration with the stores EPOS, and a full review section.

We continue to work with both Simply Indian and Kismat on their marketing efforts and website requirements.
