The Challenge

Extreme Air already had a website, but it wasn’t quite flexible enough for the park’s evolving requirements. After introducing a number of new activities and sessions, the old site was creaking under the strain and frequently crashed.

Extreme Air needed a website and booking solution that could handle peak traffic spikes, always be available to staff, and give management the insight and marketing tools they needed to push the brand further.

The Project

We spent time on-site at Extreme Air to better understand the challenges posed by the existing system and to suggest ideas to maximise revenue and improve customer flow throughout the park

We set to work building a fully responsive website that catered fully to a mobile user experience, rather than simply adjusting to it. Online booking was simplified and separated by activities, rather than having one huge availability calendar for every product. This was all controlled from a central availability database that controlled overall park numbers.

Finally, we created a bespoke Waiver management system for Extreme Air, that simplified the process of signing a waiver for people attending the park. Where the previous system would let you checkout, then force you to enter all of your name, address and contact details again, our system tied this to the user account of the person booking, and allowed simple additions from home, or at the park.

Implementation & Completion

When the time finally came to launch the new website, we spent a full day on-site with the team at Extreme Air to quickly troubleshoot any issues and help train staff on the new system.

With enhanced Google Analytics & Mail Chimp integrations, Extreme Air can now target their marketing much more effectively, ensuring a busier park all year round by incentivising quiet days with offers, and ensuring maximum return on peak days.

We also included a new ‘AirPoints’ loyalty system, where people earn points for every online booking they make. These can then be redeemed for free visits to the park. This was twinned with a new gift voucher system, allowing guests to purchase AirTime vouchers online and send them directly to loved ones.

The new website received glowing reviews from customers and has achieved exceptional website statistics, including one of the lowest bounce rates in our history of building websites, and a superb conversion rate.

We continue to work closely with Extreme Air on their marketing, branding and design requirements, along with continually improving the booking offering.
